View-Master Reel Packet Styles Quick Reference

S1-S2		Original Packet Style
S3		First packet with the Window and an example image. Early variants with a drawing referred to as S3D
S4		The main change was the new packet number printed in the solid-color circle at the upper right of the envelope front
S5		The Window goes away with a full face image.
S6		White oval with View-Master logo added. There are A B and C variants of this. See link at the bottom of the page for details.
G1-G2		Square gaf logo at bottom. G1 and G2 only differ on the back. a G2 is identified by a color gaf logo on the back.
G3-G6		Subtle differences in these styles are in the logo and placement of the text. See link at the bottom of the page for details.
