Making custom View-Master Reels using a 35mm or Realist camera
This article originally appeared in an issue of
Stereoscopy from
1982. Bob Aldridge who was a party to the original experiments along
with the author Arthur Girling, provided this PDF version along
with his notes.
Also as noted in Bobs comment, as part of the Stereo
Active Mounting (SAM) system, Jacob Van Ekeren has produced a prototype
View-Master mounting jig which would work perfectly with this method.
For information on that you should contact

developed by an artist in Portland who makes her own reels from scratch.
